Fabric OS is a robust operating system for high-performance, scalable Storage Area Networks (SANs). Secure Fabric OS provides for larger SANs a significant improvement in SAN security, additional management controls, flexible security and policy administration and complementary functions for Brocade advanced zoning capabilities. Fabric Access, the Brocade Fabric OSTM Access Layer, provides applications with access to critical information about SANs. With Fabric Access, the application can control the Fabric directly for functions such as discovery, access (zoning) management, performance, and switch control. Fabric Watch is a robust fabric-monitoring tool for mission-critical SAN fabrics. WEB TOOLS is an easy-to-use Web-based tool for configuring and administering SAN fabrics and fabric switches. Brocade Extended Fabrics provides switched fabric connectivity over longer distances - up to 100 km at full Fibre Channel bandwidth (approx. 100 MB/sec.). Brocade QuickLoop offers a cost-effective path for Fibre Channel private-loop devices in legacy environments to migrate to a fully scalable Fabric to be used for a Storage Area Networks (SAN). | |
